This Polish tradition filled the Church again, with families each holding a basket of Easter Food. The tradition is to bring the food that will be consumed on Easter Sunday to Church, the day before, for a blessing. The baskets now tend to contain items which have a symbolical meaning such as decorated eggs, salt, bread, sausage, ham, horseradish sauce, and some greenery.
