A Parish celebration for those who were confirmed last week

This is the Confirmation cake for the six young people who were confirmed last Monday by the Bishop in at Our Ladies, Acomb. Yesterday (Pentecost Sunday) we had a Parish celebration for the Confirmee's who also did the readings and Bidding Prayers at Mass.

CAFOD collection

A retiring collection was made for last Friday's CAFOD Family Fast Day

We were told that this year the Government is going to add one pound for every pound we give to CAFOD so it can bring even more benefit to those in need
