Canon Patrick Hartnett

Canon Patrick was born in Middlesbrough. His father was from Dublin and was brought to Middlesbrough to play for Middlesbrough F.C.

Canon Patrick trained for the priesthood at St. Patrick’s College, Thurles, Tipperary, Ireland.

He was ordained at St. Joseph’s Church, Middlesbrough on the 15th June 1979.

He was recently Parish Priest at St. Therese of Lisieux, Ingleby Barwick, Stockton, overseeing the building of a new Church, and is also the Episcopal Vicar for Worship and Spirituality.

He became a Canon in February 2016 and moved from Ingleby Barwick to become the Priest at All Saints Church, Thirsk in October 2019.
